Millenium Coastal Park

On your doorstep is the Millennium Coastal Park (MCP) which occupies approximately 10 miles of coastline on the Burry Estuary. The park offers superb views along its length of the Gower Peninsula. The Gower was the first designated area of outstanding natural beauty in the UK. Two minutes walk from the apartment is the discovery centre with café/ restaurant and visitors centre which has lots of tourist information and guides to all the local visitor attractions. On your door step is a gently sloping sandy beach with donkey rides available for the family. Swimming is allowed on this beach but there are no lifeguards. It is only possible to swim when the tide is in as the water goes out a long way. The nearby Wildlife and Wetlands centre is a great day out whatever the weather.

Cycling

The Coastal Park offers many unique features including a continuous 22km traffic-free cycle/footpath - why not bring your bikes and use the Celtic Cycle way that links Swansea to Fishguard for an energetic way to see the Carmarthenshire countryside. You can go onto the Millenium Wheel and enjoy a different, mostly off road cycle path for over a week. Cycle hire is available locally.
